Collected information is tied to the users personally identifiable information
to submit users' creations to selected publications/scrapbooking-related entities.
We do not share your private profile with third parties other than those selected
individually by user during the submission process.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information
about the user. We use persistent cookies. A persistent cookie is a small text
file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent
cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions.
By setting a cookie on our site, users would not have to log in a password more
than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If users reject the cookie,
they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be
limited in some areas of our site. For example, the user will not be able to submit
personal creations through the ScrapSubmit submission system, edit their ScrapBio,

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing
company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share,
store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
In the event ScrapSubmit.com goes through a business transition, such as a merger,
being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users’
personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.
Our users are given the opportunity to ‘opt-in’ to having their information
used for purposes such as newsletter delivery at the point where we ask for information.
For example, our registration form has an ‘opt-in’ mechanism so users
who register for an account, but don’t want any marketing material, can
keep their email address off of our lists.
